We have a new instructional video, called Inverse Trigonometric Functions: Domain Restrictions. It explains why inverse trig functions require us to look in certain quadrants.

Monday, October 12th, 2020:
We have a new interactive quizmasters, called Angled Width of a Sofa Calculator. It will determined the angled width of a sofa. This is helpful if someone has a narrow opening and is wondering if the sofa can be moved through it.

Sunday, October 11th, 2020:
We have a new interactive quizmasters, called Angled Width of a Sofa. This is a practical application for determining the possible shortest width of a sofa. The calculations can determine if a sofa will fit through a narrow opening before the sofa is purchased, which would could save time and energy in the case a sofa will not fir through the opening.

Saturday, September 26th, 2020:
We have two new interactive quizmasters, called:

  • Finding the Zeros of a Cubic Polynomial
  • Finding the Complex Zeros of a Cubic Polynomial.

    Tuesday, August 11th, 2020:
    We have a new activity, called Tide Problem: Preliminary Sheet. This helps students solve a real world tide problem by scaffolding the information with the use of technology.

    Monday, August 10th, 2020:
    We have a new activity, called Paper Airplane STEM. This new activity ties together paper airplanes, data tables, probability, and trigonometry.

    Thursday, August 6th, 2020:
    We have a new quiz, called Tide STEM Problem.

    Wednesday, August 5th, 2020:
    We have a new activity (lesson), called Scale Model of the Solar System. This new activity requires the use of NASA for data and Excel. Students utilize dilations (scale factors) and learn about the proportions of our solar system.

    Thursday, July 16th, 2020:
    We renovated another lesson, called Geometric Sequences and Series. This new lesson has better formatting and new graphics.

    Wednesday, July 15th, 2020:
    We renovated a lesson, called Arithmetic Sequences and Series. This new lesson employs a better method than the previous method. Also, the formating was changed and several graphics were added.

    Wednesday, July 8th, 2020:
    We have a new instructional video, called Finding the nth Term of an Arithmetic Sequence. This video replaces an old version. The new version implements strategies that are easier for students to use.

    Thursday, July 2nd, 2020:
    We have a new instructional video, called Solving Logarithmic Equations.

    Tuesday, June 30th, 2020:
    We have a new instructional video, called How To Teach Inclined Plane Problems. A lesson page for Vectors: Inclined Plane Problems was added, too.
