Monday, December 30th, 2013:
We added two new quizzes. One quiz is called Determine the Function. Given a table of ordered pairs, the quiz-taker has to determine what linear function generates the table.

The other is called Find the Pattern. It is a more complex problem, but similar to Determine the Function.

Thursday, December 26th, 2013:
Two more quizzes were added. One is for Horse Race Problems and the other Election Problems. They are based on the recently added counting lessons. They are situations when order matters.

Wednesday, December 25th, 2013:
Two more quizzes were added. One is for Tickets Problems and the other Card Deck Problems. They are based on the recently added counting lessons. They are situations when order does not matter.

Monday, December 23rd, 2013:
Two new quizzes were added. One is for Clothes Problems and the other License Plate Problems. They are based on the recently added counting lessons.

Tuesday, December 17th, 2013:
A new lesson on Complex Counting has been added. It explains how to use the combinations and permutations formulas on various problems.

Monday, December 16th, 2013:
A new lesson on Basic Counting has been added. It explains how to use the fundamental counting principle on various problems.

Tuesday, December 3rd, 2013:
A new lesson on Functions has been added. It covers notation and how to determine if a relation is a function. It also covers how to evaluate functions and calculate the composition of functions.

Saturday, November 30th, 2013:
We added a new lesson, called Rational Expressions with Exponents. This accompanies the quizmaster we made on the 27th, immediately below.

Tuesday, November 27th, 2013:
We added a new quiz, called Rational Expressions: Exponents. It has a multiple choice answer format!

Saturday, November 23rd, 2013:
A HUGE lesson was added, called Logarithms. It details the properties of logarithms and how to use them to solve exponential equations.

Monday, November 18th, 2013:
Yet another quizmaster has been added, called Logarithms: Exponential Equations.

Tuesday, November 12th, 2013:
Another quizmaster has been added, called Finding Inverses.

Monday, November 11th, 2013:
Two new quizmasters have been added today! One is called Evaluating Functions and the other is Composite Functions.

Thursday, November 7th, 2013:
A new quizmaster was added, called Translating Parabolas: From Statements to Equations, which closes out a theme.

A new quizmaster was added, called Translating Parabolas: From Equations to Statements.

Monday, November 4th, 2013:
A new lesson was added, called Polynomials, Factors, and Zeros. It now forms a cohesive section with the quizzes that were added last week.

Tuesday, October 29th, 2013:
Quizmasters, called Finding a Polynomial, Given its Real Zeros and Finding a Polynomial, Given its Imaginary Zeros, were added.

Monday, October 28th, 2013:
A quizmaster, called Finding Zeros and Factors, Given a Polynomial, was added.

Tuesday, October 22nd, 2013:
A division lesson was tacked on to our complex numbers lesson page. A few activities were added, too.

Monday, October 21st, 2013:
We added new lessons on complex numbers, namely addition, subtraction, and multiplication. They correspond to quizmasters that were recently added.

Tuesday, October 15th, 2013:
We added a three new quizmasters. They will check understanding of operations on complex numbers, namely addition, subtraction, and multiplication.

Tuesday, September 3rd, 2013:
We added a few activities to our Matrices lessons.

Tuesday, August 20th, 2013:
We have a new lesson on Matrices. Learn the basics, how to build them, how to add/subtract/multiply them. There is also an activity there as well.

Monday, August 12th, 2013:
Many pages were cleaned up so that they are easier to read, contain graphical identifiers, and are interconnected. Most of this work occurred in the "Algebra II & Pre-Calculus Lessons & Quizmasters" within lessons page.

Wednesday, August 7th, 2013:
Activities for systems of linear equations were added.

Activities for surface area: cones, pyramids, and cylinders and volume: cones and pyramids were added.

Friday, July 19th, 2013:
We are in the process of adding activities to accompany our lessons and interactive quizzes. We added activities for: Law of Sines and Conic Sections.

Thursday, July 18th, 2013:
We are in the process of adding activities to accompany our lessons and interactive quizzes. We added activities for: Graphing Systems of Linear Inequalities, Point Slope Formula, Flight of a Projectile, Trigonometric Expressions, and Law of Cosines.

Thursday, July 11th, 2013:
Our latest lesson on Trigonometric Expressions: Simplifying/Verifying Identities has a new quizmaster, called Simplifying Trigonometric Expressions. It is a quiz that will assess understanding of simplification of trigonometric expressions. However, it will also serve as a great teaching activity because it provides learners support because the quiz supplies all the necessary steps. This level of scaffolding will be very helpful to trig novices.

Tuesday, July 9th, 2013:
We have a new lesson on Trigonometric Expressions: Simplifying/Verifying Identities. It will teach the reader how to use formulas and mathematical techniques to simplify trigonometric expressions.

Wednesday, June 26th, 2013:
Our Flight of the Projectile quizmaster now has a corresponding lesson by the same name, Flight of a Projectile. It's a lesson that describes how to use a polynomial function to mathematically describe the height of a projectile (like a baseball or a bullet) over time.

Tuesday, June 25th, 2013:
A new quizmaster, called Flight of a Projectile, was added. Soon, a lesson will be added.

Tuesday, June 18th, 2013:
A quizmaster was added on Graphing Inequalities in Standard Form.

Monday, June 17th, 2013:
A comprehensive lesson was added on Graphing Inequalities.

Monday, June 14th, 2013:
A quizmaster was added on Graphing Inequalities in Slope-Intercept Form. A lesson will follow next week.

Monday, June 10th, 2013:
Within the same day, a complete double-lesson and double-quizmaster was added, making this our thirty fourth update of the year! Find this double-lesson on using the Point-Slope Formula.

We have an updated graphing lines page, again. There's yet another quiz for graphing lines in standard form. This is our thirty-third update of the year.

Friday, June 7th, 2013:
We have an updated graphing lines page. In addition to slope-intercept form, there is a lesson on graphing lines in standard form. A new quizmaster was added for graphing lines in slope-intercept form.

The Law of Sines lesson has a new quizmaster: calculate the measure of an angle.

Thursday, May 23rd, 2013:
Our Law of Cosines lesson has a new quizmaster. It will test whether or not a person can calculate the length of a side using the Law of Cosines.

Tuesday, May 21st, 2013:
A new lesson on Graphing Lines was added. The lesson offers information on various aspects of graphing, like slope, y-intercept, slope-intercept form, and other information to help learn how to graph linear equations.

Monday, May 14th, 2013:
A new quizmaster on Law of Sines: Find a Side was added. MATHguide has been very prolific this year!

Monday, May 13th, 2013:
A new quizmaster on adding rational expressions was added. The lesson on adding rational expressions was finished, too.

Tuesday, May 7th, 2013:
A new quizmaster on subtracting rational expressions was added to accompany its lesson.

Monday, May 6th, 2013:
A new quizmaster on advanced rational expressions was added to accompany its lesson.

Monday, April 29th, 2013:
A new lesson on circles was added to accompany its quizmaster. The lesson will inform the reader how to graph equations of circles.

Tuesday, April 16th, 2013:
We added a quizmaster on circles. This interactive quizmaster will provide the center and radius of a circle. It will then wait for the equation of the circle to be entered. The quizmaster will determine if the equation is correct and report it.

Tuesday, April 16th, 2013:
We added a quizmaster on hyperbolas. This interactive quizmaster will deliver a hyperbola graphing problem, wait for responses, and check those responses!

Thursday, April 9th, 2013:
Now, MATHguide has a lesson on ellipses. This lesson will inform you how to graph ellipses. Ellipses are called Conic Sections. We also created an interactive quizmaster, too. See if you can graph your own randomly generated ellipse.

We expect to have more lessons soon, on circles, hyperolas, and parabolas.

Thursday, April 4th, 2013:
We created another interactive lesson, called Algebra Magic 4: Advanced. This interactive lesson has a high level of difficulty compared to the first three we created.

Our lesson on factoring was updated. We added graphics and relevant links to other related lessons in our portfolio.

Wednesday, April 3rd, 2013:
We were extremely productive today. We have lessons related to algebraic expressions that are interactive: Algebra Magic 1: Simple, Algebra Magic 2: Intermediate, and Algebra Magic 3: Intermediate.

Along the same lines of mathematics, we have lessons that deal with rational expressions. Learn how to simplify, add, subtract, and do advanced level problems.

Monday, March 19th, 2013:
More quizmasters were updated within the geometry section of our lessons. There were a few rounding issues that were taken care of when dealing with the value π as were the lessons for surface area and volume for cylinders, cones, and spheres. Two new quizmasters were also added: Surface Area Tour and Volume Tour.

Monday, March 18th, 2013:
More quizmasters were updated. A small rounding issue was taken care of within the Area: Circles quizmaster.

Saturday, March 16th, 2013:
Several of our quizmasters were cleaned up to deliver better output and respond better to absent input.

Tuesday, March 12th, 2013:
Continuing our cycle of trigonometry quizmasters, we now have one for cosine problems. Our next lesson will be on rational expressions.

Tuesday, March 5th, 2013:
We have a new quizmasters for sine problems and tangent problems. Expect a new quizmaster for cosine very soon.

Tuesday, February 26th, 2013:
We updated a few pages. Our Area, Surface Area, and Volume lessons were updated. The explanations of the example problems were changed so that they are easier to follow. Our Operations on Integers lesson got a facelift and a few changes to help navigability. We're always hard at work to help yo learn mathematics!

We added a lesson on right triangle trigonometry. Learn how to use the sine, cosine, and the tangent functions.

Tuesday, February 19th, 2013:
To finish out a set, we completed the The Law of Cosines lesson. Like The Law of Sines lesson, there are plenty of graphics to help. There are also detailed explanations, too.

Monday, February 18th, 2013:
We created two new pages in the area of trigonometry. One is on the basics of trigonometry and the other The Law of Sines. There are plenty of visuals to help the learning process; so, enjoy the mathematics!

Tuesday, February 13th, 2013:
There are a lot of updates to report! We updated several graphics to bear a copyright mark after discovering other web sites that are using our graphics illegally. We also placed a donate button on our front page so that we can keep providing free services, new lessons, and new quizmasters. We also updated our sequences and series lessons and quizmasters.

Thursday, January 31st, 2013:
MATHguide's front page got a graphics tweak. We smoothed out some graphics and changed others altogether. We got tired of our flat front page. Hopefully, it's more appealing to visitors.

Tuesday, January 29th, 2013:
MATHguide's front page got a facelift. Attention was given to our lessons, as they are our major feature. New graphics were added, background elements were placed, and the width was expanded. We hope it is now visually more appealing.

Sunday, January 27th, 2013:
The operations on polynomials lesson now has multiplication, too.

Saturday, January 26th, 2013:
New lessons were added for polynomials: adding and subtracting. Several other pages were altered, but only cosmetically altered.

Tuesday, January 21st, 2013:
A new lesson has been added: Solving Quadratic Equations. Like several other lessons, this lesson contains clear graphics to assist the learner.

Tuesday, January 15th, 2013:
Our Solving Equations page has been updated. Graphics have been used to make the lesson easier to understand.
